Six years ago, I joined Framestore as a Facial Lead, and The Little Mermaid was my first movie. Still can't believe it.
I worked on the three amigos—Flounder, Scuttle, and Sebastian—handling their facial shapes, topology, design and detailing in some cases. It was amazing being part of the creative process with Pablo Grillo and the team.
We went through COVID together, which made everything harder, but we pushed through. Dan Moore led the modeling team, Mitchitaka Inoue worked alongside me, and Gabor Foner brought it all home after I moved to another show.
Hard times, but beautiful memories. This one will always be special to me. 🧜‍♀️✨
